In addition to the world-class soccer and leadership clinic for girls ages 9-18 led by the California Storm, there will be a Healthy Living Fair for parents, family members, and other community members to enjoy.
The fair will include information booths by various local agencies and groups. Some participating organizations include Contra Costa County Health Services, with their Rethink Your Drink and Healthy Eating programs as well as information on health insurance coverage by the Contra Costa Health Plan. Contra Costa Emergency Medical Services, American Medical Response and the Darius Jones Foundation will also be collaborating to instruct the new hands-only CPR method.
Also available will be information and a limited number of certificates for eye exams by VSP (Vision Service Plan). The aim of the Healthy Living Fair is to help people of all ages live a more vibrant and healthy life.
I will also provide a legislative update on the state budget, education, and health care.Registration for the girls soccer clinic is still open, to learn more and sign up visit my website.
Sincerely,
Assemblywoman, 14th District
