The City of Pittsburg website (www.ci.pittsburg.ca.us) has added a new Emergency Services page with information that may be helpful for the severe weather predicted for the area on Thursday, December 11, 2014.
The page is accessible through the City Services pull down menu, Emergency Services tab.
Sandbags are available for pick up to Pittsburg residents at the Corporation Yard located at 357 East 12th Street. Regular hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm. Please call the city Public Works Department at (925) 252-4936 in advance to make sure bags are available.
For weather information, go to the National Office of Atmospheric Administration's weather page at www.noaa.gov. The webpage includes links to PG&E and KCBS Radio additional information on the storm and it's impacts.
