It used to be that hundreds of Pittsburg High School students were allowed to attend Los Medanos College while also taking their regular high school classes.
Because of budget reductions, only 164 Pitt students were allowed to take LMC courses in 2010 but now only 68 do. Denying hundreds of Pitt students the opportunity of taking a college-level or career training course at LMC hurts their ability to prepare for college or start a career and is wrong.
